What is The Magic For Less Travel Affiliate program?

The Magic For Less Travel's affiliate program provides a unique business opportunity. Through this special arrangement, you will be paid directly for any readers of your web site that book and travel through an affiliate link from your site.

Can you tell me more about the Magic For Less Travel?

The Magic For Less Travel is one of the top travel agencies selling vacations for Disney Destinations. We were one of the first travel agencies named by Disney as an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and have been helping guests plan magical vacations since 2002. Our team of nearly 40 agents are College of Disney Knowledge graduates and dedicated to helping guests make their vacation dreams a reality. Our team of agents have stayed at each of the Disney resorts, sailed the ships and experienced the parks. The Magic For Less Travel charges no fees for our services. As part of our Magic Plus Concierge Service, our agents monitor Disney discounts and apply available discounts even after a guest books their vacation. Guests will also receive a personalized itinerary with park hours, reservation information and dining reservations. The Magic for Less Travel is also a full service travel agency accredited and endorsed by CLIA and IATAN organizations, and able to plan vacations to destinations around the world.

Is there a cost to join your affiliate program?

Joining TMFLT's affiliate is easy and free. Just just complete our affiliate form and submit. Generally, it should not take more than one week for your site to be reviewed. After your site is approved for our program, you will then be sent detailed instructions on how to get started. If you have submitted a form and do not receive an email from us in one week, please email affilates@themagicforless.com with your site name and url. Occasionally, technical difficulties can prevent your information from reaching us.

What will I be paid?

Earn a percentage of the base price of the vacations booked from referrals from your site. The more you refer, the more you earn; there's no limit.

Affiliate commission is (1) one percent dependent on of the Base Price of the vacation package. The Base Price is calculated as the price of the reservation minus any taxes, fees, port charges, promotions, etc., that do not generate revenue for TheMagicForLess.com. So for example, if a $3,050 trip was booked from a quote request originating from your site and the non-commissionable portion of the trip totals $50, you will earn $30 on the remaining balance of that trip once the client has traveled.

Does The Magic For Less Travel do anything to assist promoting sales from my site?

All of our affiliates are invited to join our Magical Specials email list. As a member of this list, you will receive notification of all The Magic For Less Travel's specials, as well as currently released Disney discounts, packages, special cruise rates and more. You can use these notifications however and whenever you like to promote The Magic For Less Travel on your web site and increase your earnings. We routinely find that the web sites that promote these specials also increase their earnings. Also, should you have questions, customer services is just a phone call or email away. You can reach The Magic For Less Travel's toll free message service anytime of the day or night by dialing 1-888-330-6201 and leaving your name, phone number, and a brief message with your question. Someone will get back to you within 24 hours. You may also email your affiliate questions to affiliates@themagicforless.com.

Will I be supplied with a banner for my site?

We supply our affiliates with a selection of banners. Use them in combination with the code for your affiliate link. You may use as many different designs or sizes of banners as you like. Not all banners work well for different pages and locations. If at anytime you would like to obtain a new banner or change a banner, simply visit our banner page and download the banner of your choice.

What information is required to get started with your affiliate program?

First, you will need to submit the affiliate request form mentioned above. This form gives us information about your site, contact information, and information need to make direct payment such as you tax EIN number or social security number, as well as information as to where to send your affiliate payments. Once approved, you will also be requested to submit a completed W-9 form by either faxing it to 1-888-330-6201 or mailing it to:

When we receive your completed W-9 form, you will immediately begin earning from web site bookings coming from your site. A W-9 form can be downloaded directly from the Federal IRS web site by clicking here.

Is adding an affiliate link to my web site difficult?

Adding our affiliate link to your web site is easy. It's really just a matter of uploading our banner, and then pasting a small bit of custom code into your web page at the location you would like the affiliate banner to appear. Once this is done, you will begin receiving credit for bookings coming from your site. Complete instructions explaining this process will be emailed to you once your site is approved for our affiliate program.

Once I'm started with your affiliate program, how will I be paid?

You earn commission from client travels using our service who identified themselves as your reader. Commission is not considered "earned" until travel is complete. Commission is paid once per month for commissions over $25.00. Commissions under $25.00 for the reporting month will be carried over to the following month. No commission reports will be sent until your site has earned $25 or more. Affiliate payments are sent in the form of a check payable in U.S. dollars to the name and address specified in our affiliate request form. Currently, we do not make affiliate payments via PayPal.

Approximately how long will it be before I start earning money?

The amount of time it will take to receive an affiliate payment varies from site to site and depends on several factors. First, an affiliate payment is not considered "earned" until a booking from your site travels and completes their vacation. Once our agency has received commission on the booking payment is considered earned and will be paid that quarter as long as the $25 minimum is met. If the $25 minimum is not met, the payment will be carried over and paid in the first quarter that the minimum is met.

Because many travelers book their vacations months in advance, it may take a period of time for affiliate payments to begin. As the calendar year for client travels fills in, however, you should begin to see affiliate payments on a regular basis. Additionally, the frequency of earnings and dollar amount are often a direct result of promoting our affiliate partnership. Adding our affiliate links to news letters, sticky notes in forums, special announcements from your site, etc, can make a difference, and your earning possibilities are unlimited. It's all up to you.

If a period of time has passed and I still haven't received a payment, should I just give up?

Absolutely not! It could be that there is some technical difficulty with the code placed in your page. It may also be that the placement of our affiliate banner is not prominent enough to be noticed. Web site traffic can also be a factor in your earnings; the more your site grows, the more your earnings will grow. Whatever the reason, please contact us and we will work with you to help maximize your earnings and frequency of payments.

Is there ever a reason a web site is not approved for your affiliate program?

Generally, The Magic For Less Travel's partners with sites of suitable content rating and aimed at audiences of all ages. There are exceptions, but each case is examined on an individual basis. Occasionally, we find that the nature of a web site conflicts with the goals of our program. For example, a web site that heavily promotes other travel agents or agencies would not be well suited for our program. We are happy to look at any web site, so when in doubt, submit an affiliate request form.

Does a web site have to contain Disney related content to be considered for your program?

The Magic For Less Travel's does specialize in Disney travel, but is also well suited for an affiliate partnerships with a variety of web sites. Any family oriented web site, community page, attraction site, money saving site or business that appeals to a wide audience would be a great match for our affiliate program.

Is there ever a reason The Magic For Less Travel might terminate an affiliate partnership?

There are a few instances which might cause The Magic For Less Travel's to terminate an affiliate partnership. If the nature of web site's content site changes dramatically to fall outside of our affiliate guidelines, that would be a reason for immediate termination of our partnership. Such sites would be notified of the termination and requested to remove our banners at that time. If an affiliate web site goes offline for a period of more than one week and has not notified us of a problem, the affiliate partnership will be terminated. If no affiliate link or banner can be located on a partner web site and efforts to contact the site by email are unsuccessful, the affiliate partnership will be terminated.

Is there ever a reason an affiliate partner should contact The Magic For Less Travel?

The Magic For Less Travel's should be contacted anytime information that affects the receipt of payment changes, such as mailing address, the name of the person payable, email address or phone number. Occasionally a web site changes its domain name without a forwarder. If this should occur, you should contact The Magic For Less Travel's with the new url.
