Are the crowds out of control?\u00a0 Just need to take a break and relax? \u00a0Why not take a ride on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/parks\/magic-kingdom\/tomorrowland-transit-authority-peoplemover\/\">Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover <\/a>located in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/disney-vacations\/walt-disney-world\/magic-kingdom-park\/\">Magic Kingdom<\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/disney-vacations\/walt-disney-world\/\">Disney World<\/a>.\u00a0 There is rarely a line for this often overlooked attraction.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10169\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10169\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10169 size-medium\" title=\"IMG_3565\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_3565-600x428.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_3565\" width=\"600\" height=\"428\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_3565.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/IMG_3565-150x107.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10169\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">View from Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>First introduced 1975 and \u00a0originally called The Wedway People Mover (WED for Walter E Disney). This attraction takes passengers on a leisurely tour of Tomorrowland.\u00a0 During your journey you will travel around and through such great attractions as Buzz Lightyear Star Command, The Carousel of Progress and Tomorrowland Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>When the ride first begins you get see a portion of the original architectural model of Epcot as envisioned by Walt himself.\u00a0 Epcot was originally intended to be a working city and not a theme park.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10170\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10170\" style=\"width: 413px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10170 size-medium\" title=\"Castle peoplemover\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Castle-peoplemover1-413x550.jpg\" alt=\"Castle peoplemover\" width=\"413\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Castle-peoplemover1-413x550.jpg 413w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Castle-peoplemover1-113x150.jpg 113w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/Castle-peoplemover1.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 413px) 100vw, 413px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10170\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">View of Cinderella&#8217;s Castle from Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Also during your ride you will get a great view of Cinderella\u2019s Castle as you come around the corner.\u00a0 This is a great picture opportunity if you are quick enough with your camera.\u00a0 Of course the highlight (at least for me anyways) is going right through Space Mountain!\u00a0 As you enter the darkness of Space Mountain and get to hear the \u201cspace shuttles\u201d roar by and the screams (thrill screams of course) of their excited passengers.\u00a0 Once I had the experience ride through when Space Mountain was closed and all the lights were on.\u00a0 That was quite a site to see.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10171\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10171\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10171 size-medium\" title=\"people mover cars\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/people-mover-cars-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"people mover cars\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/people-mover-cars.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/people-mover-cars-150x113.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10171\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Vehicle<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Moving quietly along the tracks using elector magnetic propulsion this is one of the most relaxing rides in The Magic Kingdom.\u00a0 It is fun to hear the announcements for upcoming stations such as Rockettower Plaza (this is the only station and where you actually load and unload) and The Metropolis Science Center.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10172\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10172\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10172 size-medium\" title=\"loading\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/loading-600x262.jpg\" alt=\"loading\" width=\"600\" height=\"262\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/loading.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/loading-150x66.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10172\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rockettower Plaza Loading Area<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A nice way to relax, see some things from different perspectives and learn a little history are some of the many reasons my family and I enjoy this classic ride.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover Are the lines too long?\u00a0 Is the heat getting to you?
