arrived for your cruise and it\u2019s time to head to the Disney cruise terminal to get on the ship.\u00a0 But what to expect once there?\u00a0 Let me show you so you can be ready once it\u2019s time to go.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12917\" title=\"Luggage drop off area\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Luggage-drop-off-area.jpg\" alt=\"Luggage drop off area\" width=\"298\" height=\"529\" Disney cruise terminal you\u2019ll drop off your luggage to the porter\u2019s so they can in turn deliver them to the ship where they\u2019ll appear at your stateroom later in the afternoon.\u00a0 You\u2019ll want to be sure to give them a tip for handling your luggage.\u00a0 If you arrive by car you\u2019ll drop off your luggage, then you can go park the car before returning to the terminal.\u00a0 If you arrive by cruise line shuttle they\u2019ll take care of luggage and you\u2019ll just enter the terminal.\u00a0 Be sure you\u2019ve attached your luggage tags prior to this so that they know where to deliver your luggage.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t have the tags the porter\u2019s will have extra ones you can use.\u00a0 You\u2019ll just need to know your stateroom number.\u00a0 At this point you\u2019ll go through security, much like at any airport (but you don\u2019t have to remove your shoes) then head up the escalator.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12915\" title=\"Entrance with security check\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Entrance-with-security-check.jpg\" https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Entrance-with-security-check-84x150.jpg 84w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 298px) 100vw, 298px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>At the top of the escalator you\u2019ll find Cast Members directing you to the tables to sign a general health form stating if you have been ill in the past couple of days.\u00a0 If for any reason you don\u2019t have your documents with you they can give you blank ones to fill out at that point.\u00a0 They\u2019ll direct you to the proper line to check in for your cruise. \u00a0You\u2019ll get a number at this point that will determine when you will be allowed onto the ship.\u00a0 They usually start boarding around 11:45am and board by those boarding numbers.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry if you have a high number as it does go quite fast. \u00a0If you\u2019ve cruised before you\u2019ll go in the Castaway Club line, or if you are a Platinum Castaway Club member or sailing in a suite you\u2019ll have a separate line.\u00a0 When you check in you\u2019ll show your ID\u2019s and credit card that will be on file for any onboard charges.\u00a0 You\u2019ll then receive your stateroom key that will be used during your cruise for your door key, ID while on the ship and for charging to your stateroom.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-12924 size-full\" title=\"Disney check in you have a few areas you can wait until it\u2019s time to get on the ship.\u00a0 There are TV\u2019s for the kids, characters for photos as well as a great ship model.\u00a0 The ship model is open on one side so you can see what it will look like on the inside.\u00a0 This is a lot of fun to look over so take some time while you\u2019re waiting.\u00a0 While you\u2019re waiting there are vending machines and restrooms in the Disney cruise terminal.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12927\" title=\"Waiting area with TV's\"
