For many guests, the word \u201cDisney\u201d conjures up great experiences for children, but not much for older kids. Teens are too old to enjoy a Disney cruise, right?\u00a0 WRONG! That\u2019s the beauty of a Disney cruise<\/a>\u2014it offers something for everyone. Babies, toddlers, children, teens, and<\/em> adults will all find themselves enjoying the magical experiences of the Disney ships!<\/p>\n

For most families, the Disney Dream<\/em> is their first Disney cruise ship experience. The Disney Dream<\/em> offers 3- and 4- night Bahamian cruises throughout the year, with two departures every week from Port Canaveral. \u00a0If you\u2019ve visited Walt Disney World, but have never experienced a Disney cruise, set aside a few days on your next vacation to take a short cruise\u2014you won\u2019t regret it!<\/p>\n

The teen clubs share the same name on all the Disney ships, although the offerings and locations differ. The Edge<\/em> is for tweens ages 11-14, and the Vibe<\/em> is for teens ages 14-17. On the Disney Dream<\/em> and Disney Fantasy<\/em>, the Edge is located inside the Forward Funnel on Deck 13. This club offers a colorful, illuminated dance floor, music listening stations, a computer for gaming, karaoke machines, and a Wii gaming room with flat-screen. It\u2019s a tween\u2019s dream hangout!<\/p>\n

The Vibe takes up a much larger section of the ship, offering teens a place to chill out, listen to music, watch TV, play group games and more! \u00a0On the Disney Dream<\/em> and Disney Fantasy<\/em>, the Vibe is located on Deck 5, Forward. This area is specially designed for privacy \u2013 teens not only have a secret entrance, but also must present a special coded Key to the World card to access the lounge. The high-tech room offers a 103\u201d LCD screen for movies and games. Dance parties and karaoke contests take place in a separate area, designed with a special dance floor and video wall. \u00a0\"Disney \u00a0\"dcl-vibe-entrance\"<\/p>\n

In addition to the two clubs, teens also have the option to participate in fun activities at Goofy\u2019s Sports Deck, watch Disney\u2019s Broadway-style shows, watch first-run movies, or get special treatments at the Chill Spa! There are even teen-focused activities once you arrive at Disney\u2019s private island, Castaway Cay. \u00a0Teen excursions include snorkeling, bike riding, speedboat rides and more. There is no shortage of fun and innovative activities for teens on any Disney cruise!<\/p>\n
