don\u2019t spend much time in it, I love to have my resort room organized while I\u2019m at Disney, use each space as best I can, and also have it work for my family.\u00a0 It just makes for a less stressful trip when everything (sort of) has its own place when five of us are sharing a room.\u00a0 There are some things that you can easily do so that your children can use the room easily too.\u00a0 Here are my resort room organization hacks for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/disney-vacations\/walt-disney-world\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Walt World Disney World<\/a>.\u00a0 Depending on our trip, we often stay in either a standard room, deluxe villa, or 1 bedroom villa which means our square footage can vary.\u00a0 It\u2019s probably important to note, I\u2019m not a minimalist when it comes to packing for a Disney trip.\u00a0 I know we are going to Orlando and can easily get most anything we\u2019d need while we are there, but they say time is money right?\u00a0 So who has time for that?\u00a0 #PackAllTheStuff ?<\/p>\n<p>Some key items I like to have for our bathroom area are a <strong>liquid soap<\/strong> and a <strong>toothbrush holder<\/strong>.\u00a0 Why soap?\u00a0 Well Disney of course provides you with soap bars.\u00a0 You know, those little bars that once wet are just slippery little things that the kids drop every single time?\u00a0 So we bring a liquid soap packed in a Ziploc bag for easier and less messy handwashing (oxymoron I know). \u00a0\u00a0At home, our toothbrushes are all kept in a cabinet so on vacation, I like to have a \u00a0toothbrush holder simply to keep them all in one place and not left out all over the sink for when Mousekeeping comes and may move them.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15951 size-medium\" title=\"Resort Room Organization Hacks for Walt Disney World\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/toohbrush-holder-liquid-soap-550x550.jpg\" alt=\"Resort Room Organization Hacks for Walt Disney World\" width=\"550\" https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/toohbrush-holder-liquid-soap.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Closet Space.\u00a0 I\u2019ll admit, I don\u2019t hang many pieces of clothing so I like to utilize the closet for other items.\u00a0 I bring along one or two <strong>hanging carousels or shelves<\/strong> that simply hang up and then provide you with additional storage space.\u00a0 They\u2019re great for either organizing your kids clothes by day or storing all those random items (baby wipes, sunscreen, sunglasses, glow sticks, extra batteries, etc.).\u00a0 It keeps everything in one place and not all over the room.\u00a0 I also like to bring along my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/disney-vacations\/walt-disney-world\/specials-discounts-offers\/\"><strong>Magic for Less Laundry Bag<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 I use one of the pants hangers and clip it on so the bag is open and available to easily stash dirty clothes.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-15952 size-medium\" title=\"Resort Room Organization Hacks for Walt Disney World\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Closet-organization-e1533050727935-413x550.jpg\" alt=\"Resort Room Organization Hacks for Walt Disney World\" width=\"413\" height=\"550\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Closet-organization-e1533050727935-413x550.jpg 413w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Closet-organization-e1533050727935-113x150.jpg 113w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/Closet-organization-e1533050727935.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 413px) 100vw, 413px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>When traveling with children, many parents wonder about their kids sleeping in the resort beds.\u00a0 In addition to pack-n-plays for little ones, Disney does have <strong>bed rails<\/strong> available for you and you simply have to call and ask for them. \u00a0\u00a0They can also bring a <strong>stool<\/strong> to your room!\u00a0 This is again helpful for your kids washing their hands if they\u2019re not tall enough to reach the sink!\u00a0 I also keep a <strong>nightlight<\/strong> in my travel bag in case our room doesn\u2019t have an option for a \u201csoft glow.\u201d\u00a0 Sometimes leaving that bathroom light on for the kids is just too bright.\u00a0 On the flip side, I\u2019d like to keep the natural light out in the morning (or at naptime) in the hopes the kids sleep a little so I also bring some <strong>clothespins<\/strong>.\u00a0 Those heavy black out curtains never seem to meet and there\u2019s always a small gap of light somewhere peeking in.<\/p>\n<p>We also travel with a <strong>white noise machine<\/strong>.\u00a0 Many guests worry about the noise from other guests if they\u2019re a light sleeper but we create a soft white noise that keeps all the external noise at bay.\u00a0 You can also download an app on your phone if you don\u2019t have one, but we never go anywhere without ours!\u00a0 If you travel solo, you can also pack a simple <strong>rubber door stop<\/strong> as an added sense of security that no one can get into your room while you\u2019re inside.\u00a0 Or some parents worry that their children will get out of the room whether sleep walking or totally awake.\u00a0 You can purchase inexpensive <strong>alarms for your doors<\/strong> (works on both balcony or standard doors) that will set an alarm off if they try and get out while you sleep.<\/p>\n<p>If you are traveling with any water bottles, thermoses, sippy cups or anything that needs to be cleaned, pack a Ziploc bag with a <strong>sponge and a travel size dish soap<\/strong>!\u00a0 You can easily wash your items in your sink each night. \u00a0\u00a0Lastly, how many devices does your family have that need charging at last count?\u00a0 Think watches, smart phones, tablets, iPods, e-readers, laptops, cameras, external chargers.\u00a0 \u00a0They easily add up for just two guests!\u00a0 While Disney has been adding standard outlets as well as many USB outlets in their rooms during recent refurbishments, you may want to still bring a <strong>charging hub<\/strong> with you so you can be certain you can charge all of your devices each
