The lakeside Laguna Bar serves a variety of tequila and mezcal. Stop by Caf\u00e9 Rix for a grab-and-go salad, wrap, baked good, or freshly made coffee and frozen coffee beverages.\u00a0 Or visit El Mercado de Coronado, one of the most expansive food court options available at any \u00a0\u00a0Disney World Resort hotel. Check out the 123-foot long waterslide and as you are sliding down, don\u2019t forget to look up for the jaguar!\u00a0 With this beautifully themed main pool at the Dig Site, a kiddie pool, and three leisure pools scattered throughout the resort, you are never far from a relaxing cool down.<\/p>\n<p>No need to take up precious luggage space with your towels or children\u2019s personal flotation devices \u2013 they are provided free of charge at each pool.<\/p>\n<p>Coronado Springs is also home to the largest hot tub on Walt Disney World property!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26480\" title=\"Dig Site Pool\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Dig-Site-pool.jpg\" alt=\"Dig Site Pool\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Dig-Site-pool.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Dig-Site-pool-150x113.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Dig-Site-pool-500x375.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Do a Free Resort Activity!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Invite your travel party for a competitive round of volleyball on Coronado\u2019s white sand volleyball court.\u00a0 You can check out a volleyball from Siestas Cantina pool bar.\u00a0 There is a 0.9 mile running trail on property around beautiful Lago Dorado (it means Golden Lake!).\u00a0 Coronado is also the only moderate resort with two fully equipped fitness centers, which are accessible 24 hours a day with your room key or Magic Band.<\/p>\n<p>If sports aren\u2019t really your thing, you could challenge the mind with a game of chess or checkers.\u00a0 These games use giant piece.\u00a0 You can also test your memory with Disney trivia at the Dig Site pool.\u00a0 There is free marshmallow roasting some nights, and when the sun goes down, catch a Movie Under the Stars.\u00a0 Resort activity schedules are posted on your My Disney Experience app on your resort room television.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26478\" title=\"Life-sized chess by lake\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Life-sized-chess-by-lake.jpg\" alt=\"Things to Do at Coronado Resort\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Life-sized-chess-by-lake.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Life-sized-chess-by-lake-113x150.jpg 113w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/>Over at the Dig Site, there is also a playground for children with climbing equipment, slides, and a sandbox, all in keeping with the ancient Mayan ruins theme.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Unique Classes and Experiences<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Do you have a non-park day planned? Or are you are just looking for something unique and crafty to do during vacation? You can pre-register and pay a small fee to participate in one or two unique art experiences at Coronado Springs Resort.<\/p>\n<p>Three days a week, they offer a two hour long Spanish Mosaic Art experience.\u00a0 On Friday nights, there is The Colors of Coronado painting class, guided by local artists!\u00a0 In either class, they\u2019ll supply you all of the materials you need to create a unique piece of art to represent your time spent at Disney\u2019s Coronado Springs.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sangria University<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>You will find this located at the Three Bridges Bar &amp; Grill, in the center of Lago Dorado. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themouseforless.com\/walt-disney-world\/dining\/sangria-university-at-coronado-springs\/\">Sangria University<\/a> is a fun, educational, and boozy way to spend your time.\u00a0 Learn a little about the history of sangria, try three of Coronado\u2019s exclusive sangrias and then grab some ingredients and craft your own.\u00a0 At the end they play Pomp and Circumstance while they hand out diplomas!\u00a0 This experience requires an additional per person fee and prior registration to participate but is well worth it.\u00a0 It&#8217;s one of our favorite things to do at Coronado Springs!<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-26475\" title=\"Sangria flight from Sangria University\" src=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Sangria-flight-from-Sangria-University.jpg\" alt=\"Sangria University\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Sangria-flight-from-Sangria-University.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.themagicforless.com\/tmflblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Sangria-flight-from-Sangria-University-113x150.jpg 113w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/>Be sure to plan some time in your Walt Disney World vacation to enjoy your resort.
