Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is a deluxe resort located on crescent lake and just a few minute walk to Epcot (and Hollywood Studios). There are so many reasons to stay here, from the wide variety of restaurants, activities (Arcades, shopping, ESPN Zone, Surrey Bike Rentals, etc…!) and nightlife of the Boardwalk, the proximity to Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, to the beauty of the exterior and interior of the Resort.
However at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn there is also what I like to refer to as a hidden gem, which are Garden Cottages. These cottages are located in the back of the Resort where it is a quiet oasis with beautifully manicured lawns and gardens. There are only 14 Garden Cottages in total, each one has its own fenced in entrance, complete with a unique fence and garden. There are chairs outside your front door where you can sit and enjoy your garden.
Once you enter your Cottage, you will walk into the living area, where there is also a half bath
The Cottages are 2 levels, upstairs in a loft type setting is a beautiful bedroom with a King bed, and full bath.
Full bathroom has a soaking tub and a beautifully tiled shower
These Garden Cottages are truly a unique accommodation, perfect for celebrating a romantic getaway, such as an Anniversary, Honeymoon or if you just want to be in a great location, in a great Resort and yet have a quiet place to rest at the end of the day.
These Garden Cottages while sometimes referred to as “Honeymoon Cottages” accommodate up to 4 persons with the sofa being a queen sleeper sofa.
There is a quiet pool very close to the cottages, and if you are feeling more playful you can go to the feature pool at the Boardwalk Villas right next door.
Staying in a Garden Cottage means having a nice large accommodation, in a gorgeous resort in the most manicured and serene setting; and yet only steps away is the hustle and bustle of the Boardwalk. It really is the best of both worlds!
