(The Marathon was) Soooo amazing. It is the slowest I have ever done a 5k but it was awesome. The room at the hotel was perfect. We saw the fireworks from out room and in our pjs! They have characters throughout the course. We are going to do it next year!

We had a nice vacation. We arrived and were assigned a (treehouse) villa on the other side of the road from bus stop north (Villa # 7050). Great location! We loved the villas. Aside from the water not being hot to our liking, everything was wonderful and well stocked for the entire vacation.
We began on Monday with the Magic Kingdom. We got there around 9:15, saw Chip and Dale and went to Frontierland to begin the day. We started out with Splash Mountain (a favorite among all) and worked our way toward Tomorrowland. By 4, we had ridden most everything (all things on our “Must Do” list) and spent the remainder of the day browsing.
Tuesday morning, sis-in-law and my hubby were a little under the weather, so the kids and I headed to the big pool at Sarasota Springs for the morning. We met up at the room around 3 and headed to Downtown before the “Not So Scary Parade”.
We took a ferry boat and then jumped on the monorail to break things up a bit. I got some great shots by the castle and at the beginning of the park, no looking tired and frizzy hair from the water rides! We stayed til closing that night!
Thursday everyone was up and ready for Animal Kingdom. We got there at 9:30 and walked straight on to Expedition Everest (me and the kids that is). Wow!! Colton and I both had to have a T-shirt from there!
Then we all were soaking wet from the Rapids, sis-in-law got it worst (see pictures). I think “Bugs Life” was my favorite show! We walked through the park that day with our longest wait being on the Dinosaur ride (20 minutes). By 4, we were back at the room, changed and were going to try to get park hoppers for Hollywood Studios since we had so many “down” days. We decided against it when the lady quoted us $60 per person for the hoppers. I guess we should have called you on that one! We slept in on Friday and hit the road by 11 since we were making the long drive home. We made it back in 11 hours, stopping once for a sit down in Valdosta, GA.

We returned Friday am to Boston Harbor after an “outstanding” vacation aboard the Norwegian Dawn. The captain navigated slowly towards Bermuda through pretty calm seas and warm temps. We arrived there on Monday eve instead of the scheduled Sunday morn. Leslie had moved northeast and the island had little or no storm damage. We enjoyed the dining and entertainment venues onboard and relaxation and sun around the pool. It was a great escape, no phones, no computer, no cooking, just sweet indulgence, and my travel agent was awesome…..
On Bermuda, we used public bus and ferry transportation to explore the cities of Hamilton and St. George and the beaches of Tobacco Bay and Horseshoe Bay, just friendly and beautiful. We sampled the rum swizzles, dark and stormies, (two local rum drinks), I selected a scent from the Bermuda perfumery, I purchased a rum cake, and brought home a baggie of pink sand.

I had absolutely nothing to worry about while traveling this past vacation. It was so easy and quick. Our agent was so helpful and I absolutely loved the experience. We will probably go back to Disney World when my youngest gets a little older and I hope we get to use her again.

We stayed at the Carribean Beach Resort and booked two rooms. We requested the rooms be near each other and we wanted to stay in Aruba or Jamaica (to be nearer the food court). Our agent said she would see what she could do. Well we got connecting rooms in Jamaica and they were the perfect location to everything! The food court, the quiet pool, the laundry and even the bus stop were amazingly close for us!! Linda was great and I will definately use her again for our next trip!!! Our agent is great!
