A “Suite” Room!

On a recent trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for a conference another agent and I had the amazing luck to be upgraded to the Two Bedroom Executive Suite at Coronado SpringsThe suite was located on the fourth floor of building one in the Casitas section.  I had no idea what to expect when I entered the room and I was thrilled with the surprise that we got!

The Executive Suite is designed for business travelers who need a spot to host a function during a conference or a meeting.  It would definitely still work for a family who wanted space to spread out or even multiple families who were traveling together and wanted a home base during the trip.  The suite itself is officially listed as sleeping 6, but could hold up to 8.

When you first enter the suite, you are in the middle room, a reception area.  The suite is comprised of 5 “regular” rooms at Coronado Springs.  The center one is the reception area and here you will find a wide open space with just a center table, perfect for a floral arrangement, a desk and a credenza.

At the back of the reception area is a powder room.  With a nod to the business functions that this suite is designed for, there is a large basket of rolled wash cloths and a small bin for dropping them in after using them to dry your hands.

To the left of the reception area you enter the dining room.  Here you’ll find a large table where you could easily hold either a family dinner or a business meeting.  There is also a wetbar, complete with a small fridge and a Keurig in case you need coffee or tea.

Passing through the dining room, you get to one of the bedrooms.  This room is the double queen room.  It’s a lock off room and is essentially a Standard Room at Coronado Springs.  It has a separate door to the outside, so you could come and go without disturbing anyone else in the suite.  The room has all of the typical features, including its own mini fridge, but it also has a DVD player.

If you go to the right from the reception area, you enter into the living room.  This room has a comfortable leather couch, two chairs, an ottoman and a coffee table.  There is an entertainment center and tv, as well as a DVD player.  You’ll also find a closet in this room.

From the living room you would enter into the master bedroom.  This room is a bit different from a typical room at Coronado Springs.  This room has a King sized bed and the usual entertainment center.  It also has the mini fridge and has the added DVD player.  Then, instead of a desk, it has a chair and two leather ottomans.  There is also a large closet with bifold doors.

The bathroom for the master bedroom is very large.  It has a large vanity with one sink.  There’s a separate shower stall on the right.  On the left is a huge, recessed Jacuzzi tub.  The bathroom has upgraded toiletries and even comes with a hamper and a sink.
