New Walt Disney World Attractions
Whether you’re a fan of thrill rides or prefer family-friendly attractions, there’s no shortage of fun and excitement at Walt Disney World this summer. One of the most exciting new attractions at Walt Disney World is TRON Lightcycle / Run. This rollercoaster-style attraction takes you on a high-speed journey through a digital world.
Thrill seekers will also want to head to Epcot to experience Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This indoor roller coaster is the first of its kind and has #AllTheDisneyThrills!

In addition, the fan-favorite Narcoossee’s, recently reopened and showcases menu offerings from the land and sea. After you dine on surf-and-turf, scallops and gnocchi, or blackened redfish, treat yourself to the almond-crusted cheesecake with cherry sauce.

Re-imagined Disney Resort Rooms
If you are like me, a Disney Resort is a big part of my vacation. Disney has been making some updates and big improvements to the rooms at their resorts. You will find more plugs and ports, more storage, better layouts, and clean, fresh, new looks. Of course, there is still lots of Disney magic in the rooms too!
Check out the beautiful new rooms with subtle Mary Poppins theming at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Of course, everyone loves the new Moana themed rooms at Disney’s Polynesian Village.

Extended Summer Park Hours
Summer travel means longer park hours and that opens up many possibilities for your vacation. Enjoy park time in the mornings and evenings, and take an afternoon break to enjoy your resort pool. Or sleep in and enjoy a leisurely start to the day. Consider park hopping to experience one park in the morning and another in the afternoon. In addition, you can choose a park ticket that includes access to the Disney Water Parks! This ticket add-on is surprisingly affordable and lets you enjoy more parks!
Night Time Shows
Walt Disney World is famous for its incredible nighttime shows, and this summer will be no exception. Don’t miss the return of “Happily Ever After” at the Magic Kingdom. Fantasmic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a must-see nighttime show that features classic Disney characters and impressive special effects, including pyrotechnics and water projections. You will also see the return of the Epcot Forever show in Epcot.
