Final Payment Date
Please note that Disney Cruise Line will automatically cancel your cruise and you will lose your deposit if the final payment date is not made by the final payment date at 5 p.m. EST.
Unfortunately Disney Cruise Line has no exceptions to this rule. To avoid your cruise canceling, The Magic for Less Travel requires that all guests provide payment information and authorization to their counselor at least 5 days prior to the final payment date. We will note this date as your final payment date in the communications you receive from your counselor. Please ask if you are unsure of this date and mark this date in your calendar now. This gives us an opportunity to ensure that your final payment is made in a timely manner and that you do not lose your cruise reservation.
Final Payment Method
We highly recommend making your final payment with a credit card. If you will be paying using a debit card or a Visa/Mastercard that draws money from your checking account, you likely have a daily limit on your account and this will impact your ability to make your final payment. You can either make arrangements with your counselor to pay in advance of your final payment date, or chose another method of payment. If you are not able to make your final payment on time because of a credit or debit card limit restriction, your cruise will cancel. We do not recommend making your final payment by check unless you are paying at least 3 weeks prior to your final payment date and you send the payment with tracking.

Closed Loop Caribbean and Bahamian Cruise Documentation
US Citizens
U.S. and Canadian citizens 16 years and older who enter the U.S. at land and sea ports of entry from within the Western Hemisphere (Canada, the Caribbean, Mexico, Bermuda and the Bahamas) will need to present government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license as proof of identity, along with proof of citizenship, such as an original birth certificate with raised seal or naturalization certificate, or a valid passport. Children age under age 16 will be able to enter with proof of citizenship. Verbal claims of citizenship and identity alone and copies of required documentation will not be sufficient to establish identity and citizenship for entry into the United States.

- Children ages 16 and under will be required to present proof of citizenship, such as an original birth certificate with raised seal. We still recommend a passport.
- In the unlikely event you need to depart your cruise vacation early via air transportation a passport is the only acceptable form of identification for re-entry into the United States. We recommend the passport as it is valid for air travel throughout the world.
If any member of your family has derived United States citizenship through adoption from abroad, there are additional documentation requirements. Please ask your counselor for more details.
Security guidelines require all adult Guests to show a picture I.D. To embark and disembark the ship in all ports, including Castaway Cay. Please be advised that anyone under the age of 18 wishing to go ashore unaccompanied will be required to have a consenting parent, guardian or other responsible adult with them at the gangway, to provide their signature as authorization.
If there would be an emergency that would require you to fly home from another country, you would need a passport to do so. By having a passport when you travel, you will have the necessary document. Passports also offer the flexibility to travel on short notice plus it simplifies travel since you only have to produce one document.
To obtain a passport for the first time, you need to go in person to one of the passport acceptance facilities located throughout the United States with two photographs of yourself, proof of U.S. citizenship, and a valid form of photo identification such as a driver’s license. Please allow ample time for this procedure.

Non-United States Citizens
In addition to a valid passport, many countries require an entry visa based on your nationality. It is the Guests’ responsibility to identify and to obtain all the necessary visas before commencing their cruise. Since requirements may vary, Guests are advised to contact their local Consulate or Embassy for more information on required travel documentation for all ports of call during the cruise. Guests without proper documentation will be denied boarding. More information is available from your counselor.
Children Traveling Without BOTH parents

Transportation to the port
If you have made flight or transportation arrangements that are not included as part of your Disney cruise line package purchased from Disney, you are responsible for arriving at the port at least one and a half hours before your ship sailing time. Regardless of the reason, you will not be entitled to a refund if you are not aboard the ship on time. Many travelers choose to arrive a day before the cruise and stay at a hotel near the airport or near the port. We highly recommend this option as there are many instances that could cause your flight to be delayed. Weather, mechanical problems and so many other instances could cause your flight or transportation to be delayed. If you would like us to make arrangements for a hotel stay before or after your cruise, please let us know. We have many hotels near the airport and the port that we can recommend.
If you would like us to arrange transportation to the port from the airport or hotel, please let us know. We would be happy to make those arrangements for you as well.
Disney Cruise Line Restrictions:
Women who have entered their 24th week of pregnancy as of their embarkation date or who will enter their 24th week of pregnancy during the cruise and infants under 6 months will be refused passage due to safety concerns. Neither a physician’s medical statement nor a waiver of liability will be accepted. In addition, Disney Cruise Line cannot be held responsible or liable for any complications relating to pregnancy at any stage.
Disney Cruise Vacations Protection Plan
We strongly recommend the purchase of Disney Cruise Vacations Protection plan that provides baggage, trip cancellation/interruption and medical expense coverage for your vacation. Remember, most major medical policies do not provide coverage outside the U.S., and if you need to cancel your cruise after the final payment date, there are strict penalties.
The Disney Cruise Line policy provides coverage for certain circumstances. Pre-existing condition exclusions and other exclusions, limitations and restrictions apply.
Vacation Protection is not in effect until final vacation payment is made. Premiums for the Vacation Protection Plan must be paid by the final payment due date.
Disney Cruise Line Cancellations/Refunds Policies
Cancellations must be made by telephone or in writing. Disney Cruise Line considers changes to the vacation commencement date, land/sea components, or changes of Guest names to be cancellations.
Vacation Protection is non-refundable once purchased. Most airfare is non-refundable. If a hotel stay is included in your cruise package, hotel cancellation penalties may also apply.
