Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge opens July 1, 2027, as the newest Disney Deluxe Villa resort at Walt Disney World. It sits on the shores of Bay Lake, on the former site of River Country, near Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Magic Kingdom is a short boat ride away.
The resort celebrates the outdoors as Disney artists have imagined it. Rooms, the lobby, and the pool area draw on Pocahontas, Bambi, Brother Bear, Encanto, and Fantasia. Floor-to-ceiling lobby windows frame Bay Lake, and several spots around the resort offer views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
With 967 accommodations, Lakeshore Lodge has a fit for nearly every party. Couples can choose a cozy duo studio. Families can spread out in a multi-bedroom villa. For something truly new, book one of the freestanding Lake Houses right on the water.

Lakeshore Lodge Guest Rooms
Every accommodation type at Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge tells a different Disney story, so the room you choose shapes the experience as much as the view.
Duo studios bring the color of Encanto to a space sized for two. Deluxe studios and one- and two-bedroom villas wrap guests in Bambi’s woodland calm. Three-bedroom grand villas take their cue from Fantasia and are built for multigenerational families. Resort studios echo the Pocahontas lobby with earthy colors and carved details.
The resort also debuts a room type found only at Lakeshore Lodge: freestanding Lake Houses. Their A-frame design, floor-to-ceiling windows, and private porches put guests right on Bay Lake’s shore. Inside, Brother Bear artwork and a Northern Lights-inspired glow in the primary bedroom set the mood.
For guests who want extra pampering, select club-level rooms and the Hidden Willow Presidential Suite include access to The Artist’s Nest. This concierge lounge sits above the treetops and offers complimentary refreshments and views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
