Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend

Event Dates: January 4-8, 2023

You won’t want to miss a weekend of races that are as magical as they are memorable, from Disney’s Health & Fitness Expo to the final mile of the marathon, complete with Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy medals. Walt Disney World® Marathon Weekend Features:

  • Walt Disney World Marathon: Participants will experience the most magical 26.2 miles in the world with a racecourse that winds through all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
  • Walt Disney World Half Marathon: Participants will experience 13.1 miles of on-course Disney music and entertainment visiting two Walt Disney World Theme Parks along the way.
  • Goofy’s Race and a Half Challenge: Accept the challenge and enjoy 2 races in 2 days running through Walt Disney World Resort for 39.3 miles of fun – and get a chance to earn the coveted Goofy medal in addition to your Half Marathon and Marathon finisher medals!

  • runDisney Kids’ Races: Kids’ races range from a Diaper Dash to a Mickey Mile
  • Dopey Challenge: Compete in the ultimate endurance challenge—a 4-day series of fun races that cover a distance of 48.6 miles. Run the 5K, 10K, half marathon and marathon, with a chance of winning 6 medals including the Dopey Challenge finisher medal.
  • Disney Castaway Cay Challenge: Combine one magical 5K event or longer during the 2020 Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend with a 5K the following week on Castaway Cay, Disney Cruise Line’s private tropical island in the Bahamas.
  • runDisney Health & Fitness Expo: This four-day event involves celebrity runner appearances, seminars on training, racing, and nutrition, and the opportunity to experience the latest in running and fitness equipment.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a Halloween-themed special event held on select dates in August to October in Magic Kingdom® Park. Purchase of an additional event admission ticket is required to attend Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

In addition to many favorite Disney attractions, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is filled with special entertainment, including:During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes. Even better, you can collect delicious candy as you trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom Park.

  • Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular – A spectacular fireworks show developed just for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! The show features state-of-the-art projection effects, lasers, lighting and dazzling fireworks to tell a not-so-scary story about how anything can happen on a Halloween night! Featuring some favorite friends, Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy, on a journey through a mysterious haunted house!
  • “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” – a Cinderella castle forecourt stage show, will take place exclusively at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this fall. “Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular” features the mischievous Sanderson Sisters from Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” as they return to the mortal world for one night during the Halloween season to cast a spell on everyone in the Magic Kingdom Park. The show also includes appearances by the Disney villains, and features dancers, projections and special effects.
  • Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade—including Disney Characters and the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. The parade begins with a spook-tacular ride by the Headless Horseman.
  • Many favorite Disney Characters and Disney Villains in special Halloween costumes.
  • Special lighting, music and theming effects transforms special areas of Magic Kingdom theme park into happy haunted hollows.

The tone of the event is, well, “Not-So-Scary”, and is appropriate for children of all ages.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Celebrate the magic of the holiday season with your family at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, a special event held select nights in November and December at Magic Kingdom® Park!

The Magic Kingdom park comes alive with festive cheer for visitors of all ages whenever Mickey prepares to celebrate the holiday. The atmosphere is filled with joyful music. The Disney Characters dress up in their jolliest holiday attire, and enchanting entertainment can be found almost everywhere you look.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party features:

  • Delight in the amazingly festive Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show!
  • Gather to watch Disney Characters give a yuletide nod to the season during Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade.
  • Get the perfect picture with Disney pals dressed in their Christmas best!

Ticket holders will be admitted to Magic Kingdom park as early as 4:00 PM on the valid date of their ticket. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is held from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight on select nights.

One of the most beloved holiday traditions at Epcot – a joyous retelling of the Christmas story by a celebrity narrator accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a glorious mass choir.

Performances are at 5:00 PM, 6:45 PM and 8:15 PM nightly from Late November – December 30.
