Disney Lowers Prices with New "Gateway Collection"

Beginning May 1, 2009, the first of Disney's new Gateway Collection trips, Gateway to London and Paris will go on sale. Guests will travel with a slightly larger group (no more than 50 Guests) and stay in comfortable lodging such as the Park Plaza County Hall in London and the Marriott Rive Gauche in Paris. This trip also includes expanded free time so families have the flexibility to tailor their vacation to the things that interest them most.

While no early booking savings will be offered for the new Gateway to London and Paris package, prices offer a savings of $1200 per adult over the similar "Cities of Knights and Lights" ABD vacation. The “Gateway to London and Paris" trip will be offered for August 7 - 13, 2009 and will cost $2799 for Adults and $2499 for children 11 and younger.

Besides more moderate lodgings and larger groups, the new "Gateway to London and Paris" will differ in several other ways. Second Class (rather than first class) passage on the Eurostar will now be offered and airport transfers will not be included. However, a guide will be at the airport to greet ABD guest and assist with transportation to hotels at guests own expense. The High Tea at Harrods, the West End theatre experience and biking in Versailles will also be excluded.

"Gateway to London and Paris" will stil include the core Disney Differences such as 2 Adventure Guides, Junior Adventurer activities, local experts, special access to select unique experiences, storytelling, fun for the whole family, Disney quality and service
